The Hagan ScholarshipThe Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship designed to help high-achieving students from small towns and rural areas graduate college debt-free. Recipients must: a) graduate from a public high school located in a county having fewer than 50,000 residents, or b) graduate from a remote rural school located in a county having more than 50,000 residents. DEWALT Trades Scholarship: The DEWALT Trades Scholarship program is awarding up to 20 scholarships for $10,000 each to students planning to pursue full-time study at a two-year college or vocational-technical school in the 2021-2022 academic year. To apply, students must: • Be high school seniors, graduates or undergraduates • Plan to pursue a degree/certificate in trade fields that align with Maker goals, such as, construction, motor/power sector, mechanics or technology • Plan to attend full-time at a two-year college or vocational-technical school in the 2021-2022 academic year • Have or had a minimum GPA of 2.0 on a 4.0 scale (or its equivalent)

Lake Country Power -Les Beach Memorial: Up to $4,000 ($1,000/year, renewable) for students whose parents/guardians are Lake Country Power customers. Must have a 2.5 or better GPA and be involved in your community. Can be used at any 2 or 4 year college.

Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce Scholarship: Two $500 scholarships (one for a student attending a two year school for a vocational/technical degree or certificate needed locally, and another for a student attending a 4-year college or university for a BA or BS degree). MCCU is proud to support the academic endeavors of students in our communities with our annual Future Leaders Scholarship awards.
2021 graduating high school seniors who plan to attend an accredited college or university are invited to complete and submit an application. We will be awarding a total of eleven scholarships, in the following amounts: 1 - $2,500; 5 - $1,000 and 5 - $500
Completed applications and all supporting documents, including recommendation letters, must be submitted online, emailed, hand-delivered or postmarked by March 31.
Finalists will be notified in the spring and scholarship funds will be available to the recipients January 31.

The Ethel Curry American Indian Leadership Scholarship (ECS) Available through the Minnesota Department of Education, this scholarship is meant to aid American Indian students in their pursuit of higher education opportunities. Awards generally range from $1000-$5000 per academic year, but may vary.
The scholarship is open from March 1 to May 31 annually.

Michigan Tech Iron Range Alumni Scholarship: For graduates of any Iron Range high school in the top 25% of his or her class who plans to attend Michigan Tech.

Each applicant should submit a one page essay on how the applicant thinks Rotary members can more actively involve youth in Rotary activities. The applicant should also include ideas on how Rotarians and youth can be more involved in the local community to help address the needs of Itasca County, Aitkin County, and the youth in the area. Please identify the needs of your county and the youth of your county.

2020-2021 Eligibility Requirements
- ACT and SAT scores are not
- Must attend an Eligible Public High School.
- FAFSA EFC must not exceed $6,500.
- Must be a U.S. Citizen.
- Must have achieved a 3.75 CGPA based on a 4.0 Scale.
- Must be ranked by the school and in the top 20% of the high school graduating class.
- Must enroll at an eligible four-year college or university the first semester following high school graduation.
- Must work 240 hours in the twelve months prior to the start of each year of college.
- Must apply for eligible Federal and State grants.
- Must not have a felony conviction.
